Plastic Collection Drive – Sector 6 Park, Dwarka
The first initiative was a Plastic Collection Drive at Sector 6 Park, where enthusiastic student volunteers from Don Bosco School came together to tackle the growing problem of plastic pollution. In just a few hours, the team successfully collected 50 kilograms of improperly dumped plastic waste from the park grounds.
The collected waste was responsibly handed over to MCD Dwarka for recycling and proper disposal, ensuring it would not end up polluting the environment further.
To appreciate their dedication, the EcoEx Foundation provided t-shirts, refreshments, and certificates to all participating students. Their commitment and energy not only transformed the park but also inspired local residents, many of whom expressed interest in joining future initiatives.
Highlight of the Event
Plantation Drive – True Friends Apartment, Dwarka
The second activity marked a celebration of nature’s renewal through a Plantation Drive at True Friends Apartment. Children and senior citizens participated with equal enthusiasm, planting 12 different species of plants in the community premises.
In a heartwarming gesture, each participant named their sapling and pledged to take care of it, fostering a personal connection and responsibility towards its growth. This initiative highlighted how community-driven efforts can contribute meaningfully to environmental sustainability.

Through these two activities, the EcoEx Foundation demonstrated that awareness combined with action can create lasting change. The events not only made the surroundings cleaner and greener but also ignited a sense of responsibility among people of all ages.
